"My mission is simple: to create beautiful and durable objects that stand the test of time."

Hands behind the penguin
My life hasn't always revolved around leather. Formerly an engineer, I fulfilled a dream by going to work for a year in Antarctica, surrounded (almost) by penguins.
You don't come back unscathed from such experiences, and I'm no exception. I wanted to change my life, return to the essentials, and craftsmanship offered me all that and much more.
Today, my daily life is punctuated by leather goods, growing vegetables (I'm a market gardener in my spare time), and the singing of birds. Welcome to the workshop!

My mission
Our era is defined by mass production and consumerism. Everyday objects are designed to wear out quickly, with barely disguised obsolescence.
Manufacturing has been relocated to the other side of the world, often under shameful and inhumane conditions.
There was a time when objects were made to last, not just a month or a year, but decades. A time when we knew the artisans who made what we wore or used every day.
What I offer is at the heart of these values: useful, aesthetic, and durable items, made with exceptional materials.
